Thirumangai Alwarum - Nammalwarum Upanyasam This weekend

We are blessed to have Swamy Embar Sadagobachariar of ThiruVali Thirunagari with

us to just talk about the Thirumangai Alwar and Nammalwar on coming Sunday at

7.00 am PST, 10.00 am Eastern

 

A brief note about Swamy

--

We have heard about "maranthum puram thola mAnthar" , here we have Swamy who has

served at the Lotus Feet of Thirumangai Alwar sannidhi for 8 decades , and has

been blessed to be at Alwar Thiruvadivaram and not gone to any other

job/service and even Uthsavam/sevakalam forgoing the Alwar Utsavam. His Service

speaks volumes, so also his Sampradaya Knowledge. Swamy has finished his

Arulicheyal santhay at the age of 10 or 13 and also completed Ramayanam,

Bhagavd vishayam, Ragasya thiraya kalakshebams from his Acharya

 

To list swamy's knowledge is beyond my word and it has to be felt,

 

Swamy has accepted to talk about Thirumangai Alwar and Nammalwar in this series

of talk , pl note that Swamy's Thirunakshatram is around 85 so Swamy prefers

Kalaksheba method and hence we will have some esort of Question and Answer type

rather than full length Upanyasam.

 

I feel its better to get clarified ourselves about Thirumangai Alwar and his

Pasurams/Kaimkaryams from him , a great vidvAn beyond any word .
