Guest guest
Dear friends, A friend of mine wants to know the direct references in any Vedic text/s to the form and features of Narayana as 'para-brahmam' i.e. he wants to know where in the Vedas is to be found a description of Brahman consistent with the description of Sriman-Narayana --- specifically indicating that Brahman has four-hands ("chatur-bhuja"), lies supine ("sEsha-sayanam") and bears the conch, discuss and mace ("shanka-chakra-gadAdhAra"), wears a yellow waist-cloth of fine silk and gives eternal audience with his Divine Consort in attendance at His feet ("sriyah:patih"). Can someone knowledgeble amongst you pls. help. I will be grateful for references to direct 'sruti' passages rather than references to bibliography and other scriptural texts. Thanks in advance, Regards, dAsan, Sudarshan Health - your guide to health and wellness http://health.
