Guest guest
Dear friends, Small correction: The expression "kATA-prashnam" is actually "kaatu-prashnam" (Tamil colloquial used by pundits in their trade parlance). It is not to be confused with the Vedic "kATakam". The "kaatu-prashnam" is also not part of the Upanishads but comprises of certain passages in the Vedas which are never recited in homes. As far as the Upanishads are concerned, I am advised by my knowledgeable friend in Kuwait, they are all eminently fit to be recited at homes on auspicious occasions. Just wanted to put things in the correct perspective. Sudarshan Mother's Day is May 12th!
