Dr. N.S. Anantharangacharya's Book on Upanishats in English

As you all know, the number of books available in

English on Upanisads according to the school of

Visistadvaita are only a few. English books are very

important for us and our next generation. Hence it is up

to our generation to what is needed to bring out such

rare books.

 

Dr. Anantharangachar, a well known Ubhaya Vedanta Vidwan

is trying to bring out a book on Upanishats containing

all important passages along with their translations in

English according to the school of Vishishtadvaitha.

Important passages from Mahanarayana, Subala and

Kaushitiki and other principal Upanishats will also be

included. The book will be about 500 pages and the cost

of printing is about $2000. The manuscript is almost

complete.

 

I am sure there are a number of projects that need

immediate help. I personally feel that "na hi jnanena

sadrisam pavitram iha vidyate - bhagavadgita". 'There is

nothing more sacred than knowledge here on earth".

Spreading this divine upanisadic message to everyone

including the next generations is an important

kainkaryam. Hence, please donate what you can.
