Guest guest
----Forwarded Email---------- Sri RAmajayam SrimathE GopAla DEsika MahA DEsikAya Namaha Dear Sri.MAlOlan, AdiyEn take great pleasure in reading your posting. AdiyEn had the parama bhAghyam of meeting/getting the blessings of U.Ve.N.Srinivasachariar, whenever AdiyEn visit U.Ve.Sri.Maharishi VAsudEvachariar. Swami SrinivAsachariar's DinachArya Swaroopam, even in extreme difficult periods of extreme summer heat and water scarcity, was unblemished, and to add to his charm always sported a cherubic smile on his face. He is indeed a great inspiration for aspiring Sri Vaishnavites. One cannot help being amazed by this "young" Swami, even at this age, his conversations are very meaningful and humoruous, his advise very practical coupled with his razor sharp memory(Swami happened to be the teacher of my father, my uncles including my late uncle Sri.N.S.VenkatEsan who was a retired HM from RKM North). In the midst of Chennai city's choking traffic, especially near the hustle and bustle of AranganAthan subway, one notices the serene KothandarAmar koil street, and just in front of the temple, a muslim is having a tiny shop with a warm smile on his face. The street, the temple and the shop all look very old giving a sort of village charm to this "Old Mambalam" neighbourhood. Next to this temple, is the Oriental School and next to it one finds a old house resembling a Rishi's hermitage. That is the abode of the "Maharishi" family. The Swami has made a tremendous Kaimkaryam in establishin! g this school which served as a role model for many other schools, coupled with great administrative skills. The family has seen and won many litigations in running the school, all faced with courage, sacrifice and a smile. The Swamis never ask anyone for donations, many BhagavathAs contribute on their own accord and have administered the school brilliantly. The school has to its credit in raising Vedic awareness amongst the massed including Sat SampradAyic vishayam to Sri Vaishnavites. Only with such dedication can a muslim girl be a topper in Sanskrit. AdiyEn this Swami continues to bless with his presence for a very long time, and this school makes a transformation into a Sri Vaishnavite institution, with due interest from Sri Vaishnavite community.
