Dr. P.N. Sridharan. the Honorary Secretary of the Sri Ahobila Muth Educational Institution has developed a proposal for a Computer Center at Madurandagam. The center will help students achieve and maintain a high level of morale. We have developed a web page for this initiative. Please visit the following page for more details: http://www.ahobilamutt.org/education/computerCenter.asp Right now, to get the project moving forward there is a need for hiring a new faculty member who is qualified and motivated to take the leadership for this effort. For this to happen new funding of Rs. 7,500 (approximately US$ 150) is required. Without new source of funding, the institution cannot take on this level of continuing commitment. Therefore it is seeking help from well wishers. Assuming 8% interest rate per annum, a fund of about Rs. 11 lakhs (approximately, US $24,000) will be sufficient to take care of this need. Dr. P.N. Sridharan is looking for ideas and help in raising this amount. If you can contribute to this effort please get in touch with us. If you know of any philanthropist who will be able to fund this project fully or partially please help us with the effort. The faculty line may be named after the donor. Please remember, the beneficiaries are the poor children studying at the Madurandagam school. Also, Dr. P.N. Sridharan has specifically noted that the inclusion of computer in the curriculum will not dilute the existing curriculum in any manner. We look forward to your help in this endeavor. -- adiyEn ramanuja dasan srimad azhagiya singar thiruvadi
Guest guest
Namo Narayana! One of the ways of raising funds is through cultural activities. We can approach the Indian cultural associations in N.America. In a joint effort we can host cultural shows [ Music Concerts, Plays etc.. ] and contribute a significant part of the money collected to this sacred cause. As a big group, all members of this group can also contribute whatever eachone can afford.
