Guest guest
namo narayana! There have been several enquires about Deepavali in places other than India and U.S. So, the following is provided to help everyone. Since we have Chaturdasy till 6:00 a.m. in India, points east of India will have also Chaturdasi well into the day. So, Deepavali will be on Monday only for places such as Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, etc. The difference is only for points west of India. Places that are more than 3 hours to the west of India will not have Chaturdasy at snanam time on Monday. Therefore, Deepavali is on Sunday. If you live less than 3 hours west of India, then send me your sunrise time and time difference. I will calculate and let you know. -- dileepan
