Guest guest
Jasi Sriman Narayana! I have a telugu copy of the Sri venkateswara mahatyam from Adithya Purnam. This is very captivating and very very enlightening, and in my opinion is on par or exceeds Srimad Bagavatham in imparting and inclucating bakthi in the reader. I love this book a lot. However, it is my understanding that this is not one of the 18 major puranas. Is the adithya purnam a part of any of the 18 major puranas or other upa puranas? The author in his translation states that it is Adithyanthargatha purnam, meaning that the Sri Venkatchala Mahatyam is embedded in Adithya Puranam. Other than this text, I do not know anything on the Adithya Puranam. I request scholars to though some light. With All Glories to Lord Sri Venkateswara, i remain, Sincerely Narender Reddy --- vara12sreerama <vara12sreerama wrote: > Namasthe > Please see the newly uploaded SlOkAs 26-50 of > Chapter 2 on the > SrIvEmkaTESa mAhAtmyam webpage: > http://www.geocities.com/vara12sreerama/Baktirasa/vemkatesa1.htm > > Om tat sat Om tat sat Om tata sat > Regards > Sree Sistla > > > HotJobs - Search new jobs daily now http://hotjobs./
