Guest guest
Om Namo Narayana I am strong and crazy Vaishnavan....My desire is to keep visiting Em peruman temples. I am trying to answer for the question abt desire. I am postdoctoral scientist in University of medicine and dentistry new jersey. If my way hurts anyone please accept my sincere appologies also if i wrote anything against vaishnavism please forgive me and correct me. Sincerely, Gajaraj Beloved friend Jayakrishna DaAsan, Life plus desire is man and life minus desire is God. ok forget this... How can it be possible to live without desires? It is not possible to eliminate all desires. If, however, we turn all our desires towards God and whatever we do, if we do remembering that we do it in the pleasure of God, those desires will not bind us for rebirth. Whatever work we wish to undertake, we should do so without the desire to claim the fruit thereof. We have the right to do work but we have no right to the fruit thereof. This is what the Gita also says. Coming to the point in a different way... If you desire god, and i ask you what is desire and you will say desire is god. Remember the same thing Love is god similarly god is love. Desire is god and God is desire. And ofcourse It is not our conventional definition of desire what we think about desire and you will not find the meaning of this godly desireless desire in your dictionary or thesaurus. God is desireless Desire. Pure desire, total desire, or poorna desire, Desire is god, god has the biggest desire to create this world and you and so on... If god had no desire then there is no world and no , I does not mean God is not poorna, God is Poorna, Complete desire, MahaVishnu is Poorna... His desire is not like our desires, Godliness is Desiring Desire itself. The Desire is not just a desire for the other, when your desire is not only a need, when your desire is a sharing, when your desire is not that of a poor but an emperor, when your desire is not asking for something in return but is ready only to give - to give for the sheer joy of giving, joy creation... Then add think EM PERMUMAN MAHA VISHNU to it and the pure fragrance is released... I Hope at this point the question abt the desire is revealed in your heart... If not I will take some more examples and give explanations. Perumal thiruvadegaley Saranam.
