madhye: thishttanthi ra:jasa:ha |

jaghanya guna vruththisttha:ha

adho: gachchhanthi tha:masa:ha ||

 

Lord Sri Krishna says to Arjuna

"Those who promote sattvicity within themselves progressively

achieve supreme bliss (Moksham); while those indulge in Rajasicity

stay in the middle (cycling in punya/paapa karmaanubhavam);

while those in Tamasicity sink down and down into animal,

insect, tree and finally into inanimate forms like stone, sand, metal

etc."
