Guest guest
Sri: Please accept adiyEn's humble pranams: This is a very noble thought, but please think through the details before embarking on this. Please forgive adiyEn for bringing out these points. Why are we building a new temple, Would a community center or a Ramalayam serve the same purpose, this would be a better for building communities. Would we have kids, if we cannot feed and cloth them properly. When you build a temple, and do proper pratishtai, and Lord takes the Archaform for us. You have asked Lord to to come and be in that temple, for the rest of the this yuga you have to maintain this temple. not 100 Yrs, 200 yrs, but for as long as the Lord is in the Archaform there, you have to make sure he gets all the services. There are so many temples in India that are struggling to even feed and cloth the lord, Some of them are also Dhivya Desams (sung and glorified by Azhvars) Maintaining an ancient temple is better than building a hundred new ones. That is the reason why Yasoda who brought up Sri Krishna, attained greater eminence compared to Devaki who gave birth to Him. When the temple is a Divyadesam this is all the more significant Visit: http://www.radioramanuja.com/dhivya.htm for more details :->X-Sender: devarajanvenkata :-> Guidance for building a temple for Lord :->Venkateswara :->Srimthe Raamaanujaaya Namaha, :->While constructing a building for Venkateswara temple, we would like :->to get guidance from an appropriate religious institution which can :->provide authentic clarifications and advice. :->We would be highly grateful for information from members of this :->group about the organisations that can be approached by us in U.S.A.. :->With best regards.
