today in the hindu there is an article on Hanuman,in the column

religion.many in south india might have read.

 

"when rama and seetha were in the forest Lakshmana kept a vigil over

them by remaining awake all the time.Later when hanuman took over the

duty of protecting Rama and lakshmana before and during the war in

lanka,lakshmana wanted to know the secret behind his(hanuman) being

so energetic.Hanuman replied that he drank Amrit(nectar) from a well.

when lakshmana asked him to show the well and he agreed,the former ie

lakshmana came with a spoon.but Hanuman said no spoon was required,as

the well was Rama Bhakti and diving into it made him energetic".
