Guest guest
SrI: On Tuesday, Jan 14, 2003 the priest Sri Gopalachari in the Srinivasar temple of Bridgewater, NJ gave an account of the vaibhavam of celebrating Sri Vaikunta Ekadasi. He said: nammAzhvAr reached Sri Vaikuntam. Bhagavathas in Tirukurugur prayed Perumal for the return of Tirukurukur SaThagopan to bhulokam. Sri Rangantha yielding to the viNNappam of bhagavathas, waited at the north gate of Srirangam with His consorts to give darshan to nammAzhvAr who returned to the earth from Srivaikuntam. Perumal's darshan to nammAzhvar took place on Sri Vaikunta Ekadasi day. This is the significance of Sri Vaikunta EKadasi. adiyEn knew only the vaibhavam related to Lokan and Kantan. In the Srinivasar temple, Vaikunta vasal was set up in the north direction. When we entered thru north, we had a good darshan of Srinivasar Perumal with His ubaya nachiars similing at the devotees. The devotees left in the East followed by tIrtham, satari and prasadam. nArAyaNA! Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable. Sign up now. http://mailplus.
