Guest guest
srI: Based on the correspondance below, the system used in the calculation of Panchangam by Hindu.org is Ganitam. When I discussed with the manager (ahobila mutt shishya) in Sri. Venkateswara temple, Pittsburg, PA about the system used in the calculation, he said that vaakya method is very complicated to compute for US. He used Ganita system for the computations. The Pittsburg temple calendar also gives info about eclipses, Ekadasi etc in the calendar. The calculation is for Pittsburg city, PA. The calendar includes day light saving time in the calculation. nArAyaNA! --- Shanmuganathaswami <shan wrote: > Tue, 15 Apr 2003 15:51:37 -1000 > Panchangam > Shanmuganathaswami <shan > > Aum Sivaya Govind, > > > > Holy prostrations to Lord Ganesha and our Kailasa > Paramparai! > > > > I don't recall the two systems you mention.
