Bhagavatha Priyas,

I had all along been under the impression that Lord Srinivasa of

Tirupati is our Kula Deivam until my brother was 'told' by an

Upasaka that our Kula Deivam was in difficulty for even Vastram

and that we would come across someone who would tell us how to

get to our Kula Deivam and we had to do our duty.

All was fine until we heard that - now I am looking for

our Kula Deivam.

I am sure the Lord will show the way as usual.

--------------------------------

Please Read on only if you are interested as these are details of my

recent search.

We hail from Budur village (near Isur and Arasarkoil villages

on the banks of Palar - accessible from Chingleput and Madhurantakam).

Budur Arunapuram Bhashyam Iyengar our grandfather was at one time

Asstt Head Master in RKM Main School TNagar Chennai. He passed away

in 1970 (and we do not know the name of our 'Kula Deivam' - I am

ashamed of course).

I recently visited Budur in the hope of finding a temple. Apparently,

there was a temple but that is lost and two vigrahas (both 'sthree'

form - Thayar and Andal according to the village folk) were recovered

and have been placed in other smaller Pillaiyar temples.

I also visited Arasar Koil (Varadaraja Perumal and Perundevi Thayar).

He is the Lord for the five villages including Budur.

I dont know what to do next but I am confident the Lord will show the

way as usual.

I will continue my search but I am also reminded about:

Ulan Enil Ulan Avan Uruvam Ivvuruvugal

Ulan Alan Enil Avan Aruvam Ivvaruvugal

Ulan Ena Ilan Ena Ivai Gunam Udaimaiyil

Ulan Iru Thagaimaiyodu Ozhivilan Parandhe.
