Guest guest
Dear Members, It is very interesting to note that the Thanjavur Saraswathi Mahal Library is now online. It is delightful to see the old manuscripts in that Library. This library has a 300+ year history. It is one of the few medeival libraries in the world. It is solely responsible for providing a key to our ancient traditions. There is an interesting manuscript in that library. "Thiruvaymozhi Vachakamalai" was a commentary on the Thiruvaymozhi of Nammazhwar. This was composed by a woman named Koneri Dasyai! I encourage members to visit the website and the library in Thanjavur if any one of you are living closeby. http://www.sarasvatimahallibrary.com/library/Art_collection/Interesting_Manuscri\ pts/interesting_manuscripts.html Regards, malolan cadambi Plus - For a better Internet experience
