Namaste,

 

I invite all of you who might be interested in the vedAnta

philosophies to join the newly formed group called "vAdAvaLi". This

group is dedicated to gaining knowledge by logical arguments which

will be based on advaita , dvaita and vishisTAdvaita philosophies.

Every one is welcome to present his/her views without straying from

subject of vedAnta. People are welcome to argue on logic and other

shAstras.

 

People who are interested in mImAmsA are also welcome to join the

group. Bouddhas (followers of buddha' school) are also welcome to

join and put forward arguments.

Please remember that this group is intended to recreate the moments

of the great arguments that used to take place between scholars of

different vedAnta schools in kAsi and elsewhere.

 

The group will be heavily moderated group and care shall be taken

that no derogatory references shall be made regarding the Vedas or

the Upanishads or the three AchAryas, buddha, their works and their

followers.

 

Please remember that equal importance to purANAs, itihAsa and Agamas

will be given. The sole purpose shall be to understand the stands of

the three AchAryas and the differences. The debates shall only be for

enhancement of one's shAstric knowledge and not to prove superiority

of any sect.

 

Also the objective shall be to give an outlook of the Vedas in the

sAmAnya and guhya bhAshAs as given by the three AchAryas compared to

the distorted views given by authors of foreign origin who claim to

have studied a few works and give improper interpretations to vedic

and hindu thoughts.
