Dear Swamin:

Thank you for your note.

I am receiving daily hundreds of mails either for moderating or

seeking clarification on doubts, besides mails from the several

Srivaishnava Internet groups and personal mails. In the melee,

sometimes good ones escape my notice and some of questionable kind

sneak into approvals. And, as you know the burgeoning membership

has risen to over 3000 naturally cluttering my mailbox.

 

This is despite clear guidelines reiterated from time to time

and my efforts to moderate to the best of my ability,

which latter is compunded by disabilities of my age.

I am turning 79 on 5th December 2003 (Kartigai-Aslesham)

As of now, I am handling the work single-handed.

 

Actually, this tells on my health and denies me opportunity

to study the shiploads of books in my library.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

I will endeavour to improve my performance.

adiyen is aware of pains and efforts dheval take to moderate each and

every mail that is sent to sriRangaSri.

 

At times adiyen have seen that few of adiyen's mails which were a

direct reply to notorious misquoting of swAmi desikan by (nirvisesha

-shaiva,saktha advaithins)(May be out of ignorance or whatever where

eaten during "moderation". were "eaten/ lost" during moderation.

 

Besides the above adiyen also see that there are few mails that refer

to slokams by devatAnthram..

 

adiyen request dheval not to entertain or allow such mails that dilute

the (refer to message no 2969 as a reply to mail no 2968).

 

Let this email list turn to one of the many "AnmEga

thamizh pathirkAi" where the useless "yemmadhamum sammadham" policy is

advocated.
