Dear members,

Let me introduce myself as a Carnatic vocalist of Mumbai

specialising in the singing of Azhwar Pasuarams and others Vaishnavite songs,

giving public concerts all over India since 1995.I had the good fortune of being

conferred the title of Gaana Sudha Varshini by Srimad Azhagiyasingar in 1998 and

anointed as the AASTHANA VIDUSHI of Sri Ahobila Mutt by His Holiness in

Sept.2002. I have brought out an audio cassette/CD titled “Nallisai Paamaalai”

–A Garland of Divine Melodies composed of Srimad Azhagiyasingar’s special

Anugraha Bhashanam followed by Stotrams, Taniyan and Pasurams of Swami Desikan

and Azhwars, a song in praise of the Azhwars & a Kannan Kilikkani by Vai/Mu.

Kodainayakai Ammal all set to tunes by Isai Perarignar Kancheepuram Sri

M.N.Venkatavaradan & Sangeethacharya Tiruvarur sri.N.S.Chandrasekaran. The

album is produced by Sri Prahalada Varadan Sripaadam Thangigal Sabha, a

devotees’ wing of Sri Ahobila Mutt, Chembur, Mumbai,-71 to rais

e funds for their various activities which includes performance of all the

Utsavams at the local Sannidhi , to teach the younger generation about

Visishtadwaita, the Vedas, Prabandhams, stotrams,etc, to conduct discourses&

divine concerts and to train the youth in Sripaada Kainkaryam. The album was

released byn Srimad Azhagiyasingar on 27th July,2003 at the Selaiyur Mutt at a

well attended function. The CD is priced Rs.90/- and the cassette Rs.45/-. I

appeal to all the members of our group to purchase a copy of this album

and also persuade your friend and relatives to do the same thus doing a yeomen
