This Kshetram is on the outskirts of panrutti. There are two temples in this village. One is -adirangam- with the lord in the reclining posture. There is a beautiful vishnudurga in the outer sannadhi, perhaps the largest moolavar of thayar is seen and worshipped in this temple in a seperate sanndhi.the other temple is unique with narasimha in the sayanakolam. I do not know the sthala puranam. The temples are open in the mornigs and after 5 p.m in the evenings. Please avoid amavasys if you do not like huge crowds. Sringiri or sringagiri on the way to Pondicheri is an hour's drive from here and worth a visit.
