Today (Purattasi-Uthirattadhi) Oct 9, 2003 is the 123rd Thirunakshatram

of Srimath Aakkoor Andavan also known as EngaL-Aandavan ("Our" Andavan).

He was the 7th Andavan in Srirangam Srimath Andavan Ashramam

(Peria-Ashramam). He lived from 1880 - 1947. He adorned Acharya peetam

from 1932 until he decorated the ThirunAdu in the year 1947. His Tanian

reads as

 

Srimath vEdhaantha Raamaanuja yathi nrupathEr labdha vEdhaantha yugmam

Srimath dEvaadhinEthu ChCharana sarasijE thEna daththaathma Baaram

Srimath Srivaasa yogeeshwara mahitha mahaa sampradaayaika nishtam

VandhE Srivaasa yogeeshwara gurumanagam vathsalam Bhavyasheelam
