Guest guest
Dear Bhagavatas: I have no words adequate to express my appreciation of the marvellous kainkaryams of Sri Venkat of Bahrain and his friends. I had the Bhaghyam of meeting with them when I stopped over at Bahrain in 2002 en route to my grandson's upanayanam at Tirupati. They are such a dedicated lot who deserve every encouragement from every Srivaishnava. I strongly second the appeal of Sri Sudarshan Swami and members of his group whose kainkaryams are none the less. We are fortunate in having such sincere Bhagavatas and feel that with such souls in our midst, our Satsampradayam can be proud and sanguine about its future. I pledge my support to the best of my ability to their kainkaryams to Divyadesams languishing for want of funds and request all members to do their best in this regard. Since I did not have the necessary IT skills to do the same I had requested our good friend and member in Bahrain, Sri R.M.Venkat to help out. Sri Venkat is a true "parOpakAri" and with his usual cheerfulness he quickly converted the postings into a PDF file and has now uploaded it on the Tiruvenkatam and SriRangsri Groups "Files" section. I cannot thank Sri Venkat enough for his prompt help. I am sure Sri Anbil Ramaswamy also greatly appreciates this piece of work from our friend from Bahrain. I take this opportunity to remind our members about Sri Venkat's "Temple Nitya-arAdana kainkaryam" project. The project is to help temples (divya desam) in India that are finding it hard to make ends meet and perform even daily obligatory rites of "nitya-bhagavath- arAdanam". Somehow we must rise to the occasion and do our little bit for this project of Sri R.M.Venkat. I appeal to Sri Anbil Ramaswamy also to use his forums to draw attention to Sri Venkat's initiative so that good support is raised for it. I once again thank both Sri Anbil Ramaswamy and Sri R.m.Venkat.
