Guest guest Posted January 21, 2004 Report Share Posted January 21, 2004 Dear Bhagavathas, The Mahasamprokshanam of Sri Ramaswami Thirukkoil, Kumbakonam is to be held on February 2, 2004 between 9:30 am and 10:30 am. The Yagasalai Pujas are to commence from January 30, 2004. The details of the programme and the invitation is posted in the site. All Bhagavathas are requested to attend the Mahasamprokshanam vaibhavam and get the Paramanugraham of Sri Ramar. I am also posting an appealhereunder. Any Bhagavathas interested in "kainkaryams" can read through the Appeal. Please note that this is sent by me in my personal capacity to all Bhagavathas as they can contribute thrie mite, in case they desire to dos so. I am not a part of any organising commitee and I am also an interested person like any one of you. I can however volunteer to followup with the Sri Pattabiraman Kainkarya Samthi about receipts, prasadams, etc for any of the members who contribute to the Mahasamprokshanam. In that case, I shall request a copy of the mail to be forwarded to my email address so I can follow up. AN APPEAL Sri Ramaswamy Thirukkoil, Kumbakonam Mahasamprokshanam (Kumbabhishekam) at Sri Ramaswamy Thirukkoil, Kumbakonam is to be held on February 2, 2004 (Monday) between 9:30 am and 10:30 am. The Mahasamprokshana Yagasalai programs shall start on January 30, 2004 around 10 am. Yagasalai pujas are to be conducted in 16 yaga kundams, 5 times, over a period of 3 days. The estimated cost of Yagasalai Puja is about US $ 600 (about Rs 27000), which translates to US $ 7.5 per yaga kundam (Rs 350) at a time. The cost of Thirumanjanam for Utsavar on Saturday, January 31, 2004 is estimated around US $ 150 (approximately Rs 7000) and for Moolavar on Sunday, February 1, 2004 at about US $ 200 (approximately Rs 9000) Thatiyaradanai for about 200 archakas, adhyapakas and bhagavathas costs about US $ 100 per occasion – totally US $ 900 for 3 days (3 times a day) Jan 31- Feb 2, 2004.
