Here is a brief write up on TN celebration of Srimath Paravakottai

Andavan swami.

 

The TN function began around 8.30 in the morning at the

Poundareekapuram Ashramam. U.Ve ANC swami, Srikaryam of the ashram

spoke about the importance of learning vedas. At the end of upanyasam

he mentioned that the choice of the topic was because of how much

emphasize Srimath Paravakottai Andavan swami makes to ensure that

everyone perform trikala sandhyavandhanam without fail. It was about

9.15 am Sri Rangapriya Swami arrived at the Ashram and payed his

obeisance to the senior yathi.

 

U.Ve Ananthanarasimhachar swami then spoke about "Popularizing Swami

Desikan Works" project which was kicked off few years back. Srimath

Paravakottai Andavan swami had blessed us with upanyasam on Yathiraja

Saptathi which came out as audio cassettes was the first project. As

a continuation to this, an elaborate commentary on Bhagavath Dhyana

Sopanam written by U.Ve V.N. Vedanta Desikan Swami was released. This

was the first of the 4 books released that day. Sri C.G. Balaji,

after hearing the Yathiraja Sapthathi cassette numerous times has

written an English commentary and U.Ve Ananthanarasimhachar swami spoke

about this release.

 

Hinduism rediscovered was the next to be released. U.Ve.

Srivatsangachar Swami spoke about U.Ve. Anbil swami and his erudition

on sampradayic matters. After paying tributes to Srimath

Paravakottai Andavan swami U.Ve. Anbil swami spoke briefly and thanked

everyone involved in the project, particularly Thiruvenkadam group. He

also mentioned that it was a worldwide project since it was written in

USA, funded in ME, marketed in Singapore and printed in India.

 

"Divine sovereignty and our freedom" written by U.Ve. Sri Kannan swami

was also released. This swami had his kalakshepam at the feet of U.Ve.

Sri Rangapriya Swami gave His anugraha bashanam in both Tamil and

English. Programme culminated with the anugraha bashanam of Srimath

Paravakottai Andavan swami followed by theertham and dhadheeyaradhanam.
