Sri Lakshmi Hayagriva Puja on this Vyasa Purnima day bestows us with

good knowledge, great faculty and all round capabilities. Sa:sthras

describe Guru Purnima as the day when the Lord goes into a mystical

sleep, called Yo:ga Nidra, in order to meditate upon ways to help all

of us and guide us in the proper direction. Our Gurus are our

immediate link in this chain to the ultimate Guru, Lord Krishna.

Consequently, learning from a Guru, and seeking Sri Lakshmi

Hayagriva's Mercy through our guru is a surest way for our prayers
