Today is the sacred day of SravaNam , SrI VishNu Nakshathra

dinam . The auspicious Yogam today is Siidha and Subha yOgams .

 

At Oppiliappan Sannidhi , the SravaNa dheepam was lit and taken

around the PrAkArams to the accompaniment of MangaLa Vaadhyams ;

anna dhAnam for sEvArthees was completed .

 

On this auspicious day , it gives me great pleasure to announce

the release of one of the most beautiful web site that I have seen

for Swamy Desikan . Emphasis in this web site is on

the avathAra Sthalam of Swamy Desikan (viz)., ThUppul , an agrahAram

not far from Lord VaradarAjan's temple at Kaanchipuram .

Swamy Deikan was born here on 1268 C.E some 736 years ago.

 

SrI L.Sridhar , the talented web site designer from Bangalore

has designed this beautiful web site , which is a must to see

for all SrI VaishNavAs . Sri Sridhar has already created number of

informative and lovely web sites for KarnAtaka Vishnavite temples
