Guest guest
Dear Swamy, I completely agree with endorsement that what ever divyadampathis have played in this great drama 'Ramayana' is for the good for the mankind. I will first start by quoting a very nice sloka summarising Ramayana composed by my maternal uncle Sri Balakavi Sundara rajan. "Dharmam Shikshayithum Nrunaam Bhuvi Mayaa Ramaavatharaha Krithaha Soubrathrum Pithru Vaakya paalana vidhihi Maithryeeka patnivratham Sarvam Samyagadarshi kinnu na nrunaam pashyaami dharmey rathim Evam chinthyithaa krutham nu vaduvooru Ramena Mandasmitham" The sloka in short reasons that the beautiful smile of 'Vaduvur' Lord Rama is due to him realising that even after enactment of such a beautiful Avathaaram, people are not interested in following Dharma. Although all our poorvacharyas have clearly elucidated avatharams as dramas enacted for welfare of living beings, I specifically took this slokam because it gives the clear purpose, lessons & messages that Lord himself had taught to the mankind. Now, from this point of view let us analyse & come to a clear conclusion that if it is done by Sita Piratti & Rama piraan it should be correct. Indeed, it is correct. I dont understand why all our previous learned councilors have pitched the husband against the wife. They have been viewing them as separate entities. In reality, they were always together & planned every action of them meticulously to teach lessons to the world. This enactment has been done by both. Both were involved even when agni pariksha was made. Both of them had a clear understanding of what they were enacting and why they were enacting unlike other jeevathmas there who were not knowing anything (Lord himself says this in Bhagavat gita). So we cannot say Rama or Sita, we have to say, if divyadampathis have done it it must be correct ! Thats more sampradayic! They have clearly communicated certain messages through this act to the world. Sajjana Pada Parama renuhu Lakshmi Narasimha dasan
