Clarification of Doubts

I most cautiosly request that my following request is made only out of my

curiosity to know something and hence it may not be construed otherwise and I

declare that it is definitely not to hurt anybody.

 

And this request is made only because I do not know Sanskrit and in our area

there is nobody learned enough to clarify my doubts.

 

Doubt 1: Between Thenkalai and Vadakalai male members Pundradharanam is

distinctly visible. But ladies belonging to both Kalais are wearing in a similar

way.

Why?

 

Doubt 2: While Vadakalaiyar Pundradharanam is alike in all the twelve places,

it is not so with Thenkalaiyar. Why?

 

I also learn that Swami Desika has very elaborately dealt with

Pundradharanam in his work "Sacharitra Raksha" If so, for the benefit of so many

people like me, who do not by themselves understand it due their lack of

Sanskrit knowledge and their inability to access proper persons in this regard,

will Sriranga Sri help us?
