ORUNDRU THANE AMAIYADO THITTAM SCHEME

To improve the Students Schooling (Education), Archana is going to performed for

Lord Hayagriva at Trivahindirapuram

 

Under the above scheme, it is proposed to offer on behalf of students and

children who recite Sri Desika Stotras, in order to improve their educations we

are going to offer 108 garlands to Lord Hayagriva at Trivahindirapuram on

Vijayadasami day (23-10-2004) at around 10 A.M in the immideate presence of

sri.U.Ve. Narasimha Bhattachariar swamy. This practice will be continued year

after year in the interest of the education of the participating children.

Parents are request to enroll the students for the above scheme and register the

names with the undersigned. The following are the requirements:

1. AGE: Between 3 years to 20 years.

2. REGISTRATN FEES:Rs.100/- per child/student (Kindly note that no concession is

given to more than one family) Amunt to be sent through Cash or D.D or M.O.No

cheque please. To the below said address .

3. KNOWLEDGE OF STOTRAS:Sri Hayagriva Stotram, in full or even in part (First

sloka are also considered).

4. DETAILS TO BE GIVEN BY PARENTS: Name, Gotra, Birth Star, Raasi, in which

Class & School Studying, Father’s name and addresses.

 

Archana will be performed on behalf of the children on that day and 108 garlands

will be offered to the Lord. It is also proposed to performed a Tirumanchana

for Lord Hayagriva on behalf of these children during Summer holidays.(Detail

will be Intimated later).After archana and prayers, Perumal / Thayar Prasadams,

a Photo of Lord Hayagriva and a copy of sri Desika Stotras Book (in Tamil or in

Sanskrit) will be sent by courier to each participating child.

 

OTHER SCHEMES - I

Parents and general public are already aware that the auspicious of the scheme

and with the blessings of His Holiness Srimad Azhagiya Singar and Srimad H.H

Poundarikapuram Andavan, children knowing and reciting sri desika stotras have

been offered prizes of varying values as follows, till 15-08-2004.

1. To those who knows 5 Stotras / 100 Slokas == Silver Tumbler :::: 830 Students

Benefited.

2. To those who knows 10 Stotras / 200 Slokas == Silver KuthuVilaku :::: 340

Students Benefited.

3. To those who knows 15 Stotras / 300 Slokas == Rs.2000/- Cash Award :::: 86

Students Benefited.

Note: Consolation Prizes also have been awarded to over 8000 childrens who

knows upto 99 slokas (A child knowing even one sloka is awarded a consolation

prize.) This scheme was inaugurated by Sri.U.Ve.Venkatkanummalla swamy U.S.A, on

1999.

Every year 1008 Sri Vaishnava (Sumagali) Married Ladies are offered a blouse

pieces and Nine yards Sarees, flower, fruits, turmeric, and Kumkum on an

auspicious day of the concern months.

 

Goda sthuti recital and Sathumurai by 300 Bagavatha Ladies in Aadi, Dayasathakam

recital and Sathumurai by 300 Bagavatha Ladies in Purataasi, Thiruppavai recital

by School Girls in Marghazi, Visit and offering garland to Lord Varadaraja at

Pazhaya (Old) Seevaram in the month of Thai and recital Dayasathakam by 300

Bagavatha Ladies, Gadyathtrayam recital during Panguni Utthiram festival at

Kanchipuram in Panguni by 300 Bagavatha Ladies, celebrating and reciting

Ramanuja Nutranthathi and Yathiraja Sapthathi of Sri Bashyakara Tirunakshtaram

at Sri Perumbudur in Chittirai by 300 Bagavatha Ladies and participation of the

fifth day festival (Nachiyar Tirukolam) during Bramhotsvam at Kancheepuram in

Vaikasi for the Poor Ladies, etc,.
