Mahalaya Paksha Tharpanam

Dear Learned Bhagavatas,

 

There is a little confusion in my mind as to how to perform the

Mahalaya Paksha Tharpanam. While I was trying to follow the Vaishnava

Dhinacharya, there is no clear demarkation between the Hiranya and

the regular Tharpanam for the Mahalaya Paksham.

 

I would greatly appreciate if a scholar from this group could

describe the method and write the manthrams for the regular Tarpanam.

Mahalaya Paksham is commencing on Wednesday, Sept 28, per the

panchagams. Is the same date true for the US?
