Guest guest
Dear Swamin: You have to congratulate your wife for having this dream. From what I have heard during KalakshEpams, if a person dreams of a snake bite, that is an indication of his / her getting rid of some great sin. One should not, however, dream of a snake or buffalo chasing a person. This is said to portend some imminent danger. I am in the process of writing a book on "Beliefs, faiths and Superstions" in the series "Explaining the Unexplained" in which many such topics are discussed with relevant PramaaNams. But, it will take a while for the release of the book. Please stand by for an announcement in this regard. Dasoham Anbil Ramaswamy ============================================================================= Dear Swamis / friends I have a personal request / question. For the past 2 nights my wife is dreaming about a snake biting her left leg while at sleep. Can any elderly scholars explain what does this mean , implications that may happen, what should be done for the same ( as Prayaschittam) Kindly educate me sirs / Madams With Best Wishes & Regards sathya
Guest guest
SrI: Dear Sri Sathya You must have heard of Swamy Desikan's Garuda dhaNdakam- the recitation of which would take less than ten minutes- and of course it is a bit tough prose like [but rhythmic] sthothra on Garuda. Pelase recite the same or listen to the recitation. If you send me your address, I can send a copy from here With that there will be no such bad dream for your wife.
