Tharpanam During Chandra / Surya Grahanams

Respected Bhagavathas,

 

On 27th of this month, we are having the Lunar Eclipse. I would

appreciate if you could advise, if the Tharpanam has to be performed

during the first or the second half of the Chandra Grahanam. Is it

the same practice for the Surya Grahanam? As I understand, the

Tharpanam has to be performed to both Pithru and Mathru Vargams.

Please correct me if I am wrong.
