Guest guest
Radhae Radhae My humble pranams to my brothers and sisters of The Divine Truth. In the recent post of this I have realized that many of us do not know the difference of Divine ecstasy and trance. These two modes of expressions has vast difference, many of our Archarayas have shown us Divine experience according to the nature of Bakthi. Keep in mind that the MIND (mana) is divided into 2 parts the conscious and the sub conscious, experience of Divine ecstasy and trance are a product of the mind. Bakthi is also a product of the mind. Bakthi cannot be performed by the body as many of you may think, Bakthi is an act involving the mind In many cases of history with bakthas you would notice that the application of the mind in the course of Sadhana Bakthi the mind played the predominant role . As such Bakthi can only be performed by the mind and not the body. Divine ecstasy is a state where the mind has established full potency of Bakthi and the Lord who is the object of Bakthi has been revealed in reality to the baktha. Upon such revelation by the Lord the love play between the baktha and the Lord takes place The Lord is as real as you and I are real to a mundane mind in such a state of Divinity. A state of trance is an opposite reaction of the subconscious mind and it varies in various degrees depending of the prarabdh karma (past karma) that one has acquired. Trance modes can come on to anybody. Trance mode may be sober or may be ferocious. Some people seem to believe that God has come upon them the truth of the factor is that God has not come upon men. Many of us have various degrees of intellectual understanding of God. Depending on what we intellectually understand. Man when in the state of trance coupled with prarabdh karma takes on a state of trance which is of the sub conscious level and portrays a certain act in such state. People who are in trance are able to see understand and tell the truth and in certain extent depending on the accumulated karma they may even lie eat meat, murder or hurt someone. We even have situation where they bless mankind and behave all Lordly and Godly. . When a person leaves a state of trance he forgets what has happened In certain instances they may have walked on fire , pierced or hurt them selves and some after the state of coming out of trance may feel the pain and some may not even feel the pain inflicted on them. Some people can even go on trance on demand Now back to Divine ecstasy, great bakthas have show us the state of Divine ecstasy and for those of us who has seen such bakthas we would realize that in that sate they are still bakthas and the longing for the Lord has increased in thousand folds. The manifest horripilation, chocking voices, tears rolling down, laughing, smiling, crying and running and after thin air in search of something important. Some talk to the tress, leaves and creepers asking if they have seen the Lord like the Gopis of Braj. Gauranga Deva Chaitanya Mahaprabhu Swami was the only one ho portrayed Divine ecstasy of the highest nature of Radha Prem. More can be said and talked about the Divine ecstasy It's a feeling that's beyond words Jagadguru Kripalu Mahaprabhu has said "Sensual pleasures burn your heart and excite anxiety, whereas Krishna love rejoices your heart and spreads a wave of contentment through your whole being. It is a 'feeling' that has no definition. It is 'love' that has no bounds. It is a 'pleasure' that has no restrictions, and it is 'happiness' that has no limits. It is something that includes everything your soul needs, and it is the only thing your soul has always desired".(http://www.jkp.org) I have only given a gist of my understanding and more is there to be revealed, so in future don't be confused between trance and Divine ecstasy.
