The previous day is celebrated as Bhogi Habba and the next day Kanu Habba(Festival). They exchange Ellu/Bella a mixture of Ground nuts and Jaggerry(vellam), including Sugar Cane with the Relatives and friends. They prepare Huggi (Pongal), and Sweet Pongal on that day. The next day they celebarte Kanu Habba. On this day Mother, Sisters and Sister-inlaws in the family are given gifts and small Dosas are prepared.
