Guest guest
Dear Sri Balaji: Kindly read the mail from Sri Tatachar (copy enclosed) ========================================================== Mail from Sri Tatachar QUOTE: Sir, I agree with the sentiments. However, we already have NAMA organization. Is the charter of this new group would be any different? Sustaining a group is lot of work, pulling together to make an existing and thriving group better would be better in my opinion. Why not join NAMA and make it stronger? (By the way, I did not start NAMA and do not have any hidden agenda in it). As it is, Iyengars are just a drop in the occean of humanity, under an occean of His mercy. Why split it into droplets? We had just one prapatti/Bhakti discussion group pioneered by Sri Mani Varadarajan. That one group served better than 100s of groups we have now. I don't mean ill to any of the 100s of discussion grous that have pushed the original Bhakti into oblivion. I just ask, was it necessary? * We keep getting the same mail recycled through many groups. Why all this confusion?* dAsan K.S. tAtAchAr UNQUOTE -------------------- * Sri Ranga Sri is totally different. We do not allow copycat versions of the same mails appearing elsewhere except in exceptional cases enumerated in our "Guidelines" housed in the "Files" section of our Home page. ======================================================= If you still feel that the purpose would be served by starting another group, you may do so. But, make your plans clear and unambiguous with step by step measures you have in mind to implement the same. This will go a long way to dispel any doubts and ambiguities in the minds of prospective members. Since we Iyengars are widely spread, the interaction among us is getting diminished nowadays.I wish this group should be highly interactive rich in contents non spiritual but informative, interactive and educative. In this group you can ask advice, give advice to our members, mail some useful info on various topics like iyengar recipes, tax savings, customs, education related infos, jobs etc.Since we don't have any websites atleast all should be united under this egroup. The group should not become an another group which being active at the early stage but becoming idle as the day progresses. It's in our hands.Make this group a grand success.
