Guest guest
Swamy Deshikan Thiruvadigale Sharanam !!! Dear Bhagavathas, Sriman Shathakopa thathacharya swamy of Kanchipuram, who is the trustee of Thooppul Vedantha Desikar Charitable Trust has forwarded the following appeal to the internet fraternity requesting participation in the Nityaradhana kainkaryam for Thuppul Deshikan and Marakathavalli Nayika sametha Sri Deepaprakasha Perumal at the temple in Thuppul Kanchipuram. (All translation errors are adiyen's). ======================================================================== ======== - From Sriman Shathakopa thathacharya - Sribhashyam has a statement that states that a yaagam has many portions and many tenets to be followed. Some portions of the yaagam are to be performed by the yajamaana (primary performer) while some portions need to be performed by the ritviks (subordinate performers). The prima-facie view states that since the scriptures quote the yajamaanan alone to be the beneficiary of the fruits of a yaagam, he alone should be the performer. But the siddhantham refutes this view and states that since the ritviks have been bought by the yajamaanan with dakshinai, the fruits of the yaagam go to the yajamaana alone even if it is performed by many subordinate performers. Similarly, since we make a samarpanam to the archakas for performing bhagavad aradhanam, we are the yajamaanars of this yaagam and therefore we will be the recipients of the complete fruits of its performance. Also as stated earlier, we do not have the rights to perform aradhanam at temples. It is therefore ordained that we perform bhagavad aradhanam only with the help of the archaka bhaagavathas. The associates of a king's palace depend on the king for their livelihood. They perform the services to the king as per his order. In a similar way, the archakas having been supported by us, perform bhagavad aaradhanam on our behalf at the temples and benefit us from its fruits. Thus there are many tenets involved in the performance of nityaradhanam. The scriptures are not only for reading but also for practicing. Thus what ever we learn from shastram should be practiced by means of kainkaryam to complete our uttara krutyams. We should perform kainkaryams to our Swamy and to the Lord using our own resources. In Nyasa Vimshati Swamy says that one should not ask the help of those who are interested in devataantharam and perform bhagavad aaradhanam. Though many of the bhagavathas would already be performing many kainkaryams at many divya deshams, we request them again to participate in this nityaradhanam. Just as how many of us keep safe deposits in banks, we should also keep some deposits for the bank of bhagavad kainkaryam that will bestow on us all the fruits of our desire. It is our sincere prayer to the bhagavathas to come forward and participate in this kainkaryam. - concluded ======================================================================== ======== Please avail this rare opportunity. Kindly participate in Swamy Deshikan and Marakathavalli Nayika sametha Deepaprakasha Perumal Nityaradhanam Kainkaryam.
