Sri Mahavishnu---Bagvan Sriman Narayanan--is universal

cause---is in full form of all things small or great--- is over-lord who

supports, controls, and rules all the objects in the world as the Anthar-yamee,

is the material cause, with Prakrithi as HIs body, ---is the sentient cause by

His sankalpa,---is auxiliary cause by otheruseful objects in the world which are

also His body,---is without an equal or superior ,---is supreme deity who is

worshipped by the observance of all religious duties that have been

ordained,---is impartial by nature and comes to succour of all without

distinction,--- is the means for salvation ,---is endowed with endlessauspicious

qualities in all His manifestations ,---is in lovely form having all the

elements which adorn Him as weapons&jewels,---is the fountain of

mercy&saviour,---is having lotus-eyes,---is having broad chest as the throne of

Mahalakshmi,---is having foot which is the source of Ganga,---is the medicinal

herb in

Oushatadri

His first Avatar is SRi Hayagreeva Avatar.His star is

THiruvonam(Sravanam)Legend says that two Moorthis are facing south----One is Sri

Nataraja (Rudra) in dancing posture and another is Sri Rangaraja( Mahavishnu) in

a reclining posture. Those who worship either one of them , there will be no

fear to them from YAMA-the demon. Rudra(Paramasiva)'s star is Thiruvathirai and

Bagvan's star is Thiruvonam. In tamil, only two stars are having "Thiru" as

affixture to ATHIRAI star and ONAM star. Hence these two stars are important

and auspicious. To vaishnavites, Thiruvonam star is most auspicious. This is the

birth star of Swami Desikan also a great Vaishnavite Acharya.

This great Acharya, having birth star as Thiruvonam (Sravanam)

worshipped the first avatar Sri Hayagreeva whose star also is Thiruvonam.

Through Sri Garuthman as his Acharya, Swami Desikan was able to get the presence

of Sri Hayagreeva who appeared before him and blessed him with all knowledge.

He, thus, became the Master of all sciences,and arts. All words were ever before

him sothat he could choose and use them as he wanted.

Not only Nataraja and Sri Rangaraja are facing south but also

Swami Desikan is facing south in Thiruvaheendrapuram where he lived most of his

life. Those who worship Swami Desikan here , they will get rid of YAMABHAYAM(

fear from Yama-the demon) and also other worldly fears and get salvation

The unique feature is that first Avatar Sri Hayagreevar is

still here in Archa form bestowing all benevolence on the devotees and the

Acharya who was blessed by Sri Hayagreeva is also here in Archa form giving his

blessings to devotees. Another unique feature is that Swami Desikan is in a high

pedestal than the presiding Deity Sri Devanatha , denoting the importance of

Acharya

Thus, we see the coincidence of presence of first Avatar Sri

Hayagreeva and the famous avatar of Acharyan( both are Thiruvonam star), the

Oushatadri and the presiding deity Sri DEvanatha

We cannot see anywhere such a wonderful combination of

God---Sishya bhava, the medicinal herb Hill and the spantaneous ANUGRAHA of

SriHayagreeva. Hundreds of devotees throng the Hills to worship Lord Hayagreeva

and to get His blessings for writing examinations,tests, for attending

interviews(placing instruments, hall-tickets,writing-pens,appointment orders etc

at His feet) to begin business ( placing fresh account books at His feet) to get

rid of evil things(placing lemon fruits at His feet ) to get well-versed in all

arts & sciences ( placing honey in front of Him and taking it after offering it

to Him) to get abundant wealth (offering cardamon garland, lotus garland0 in

whatever form, in whatever manner they like, they intend to worship.Service to

Bhaagavathas is service to God.

These devotees ( children Of Sri Hayagreeva )have to be protected

from scorching sun/heavy rain/snowfall in all natural seasons when they come to

worship Him. With that aim , Srikainkarya has constructed the first phase of

Mandap at a cost of Rs 2--45 lakhs; This mandap is not sufficient . Hence, the

construction of final stage of Mahamandap has been takenup at a huge cost of

Rs eight lakhs.

Unless the philanthropists/asthikas/rich persons who are having

mind to donate substantially come forward, this task cannot be fulfilled.

Srikainkarya has taken up the task relying fully on those bhakthas/noble-minded

people

The names of those who donate Rs 50,000/ and above will be

inscribed in the marble stone that will be put up at the Mahamandap. This can be

given in three terms.They will be presented with a silver coin (10 gms)

depicting Sri Hayagreeva for pooja.They will also be presented with a letter-pad

size art-paper colour photo of 12 Sri Hayagreevars with dyana slokas for

meditation & jabam
