Guest guest
Sri Lakshmi Nrusimha Parabrahmane nama: Respected Bhagavathaas, I have a query regarding Nammazhwar's prabhandams. We say Thiruviruttam is Rig Veda Saaram, Thiruvaasirium is yajur veda saaram, Thiruvaimozhi is saama veda saaram and Peria thiruvanthaati is Atharvana veda saaram. Adiyen could make a wild guess that versification of Thiruvaasirium is like verses of yajur veda i.e without chandas - Text form. and Arrangement of thiruvoimozhi in decades of verses reminds one of Saama vedam. But what is the reason for saying Thiruviruttam as Rig Veda and Peria thiruvanthaati as atharva veda saaram? Sorry if Adiyen is wrong. Please do correct me.
