Sri Ahobila Muth is pleased to announce the annual Acharya Day celebration

during the Labor Day weekend on September 3rd and 4th, 2005.

Thirunakshathrams of Swami Sri Vedanta Desikar, Srimath Adivan Satakopan,

Srimath Devanar Vilagam Azhagiyasingar (43rd Jeeyar), Srimath Mukkur

Azhagiyasingar (44th Jeeyar) and the current Azhagiyasingar, Sri Lakshmi

Nrisimha Dhivya Paduka Sevaka Srivan Satakopa Sri Narayana Yateendra

Mahadesikan, the 45th Jeeyar of Sri Ahobila Matam will be celebrated during

the two days. This year's function will be held at Sri Ranganatha Temple at

Pomona, NY.

 

The two day event features a number of religious and cultural events from

9:00 am in the morning till 8:00 pm in the night. The cultural program

includes:

 

* Jeopardy

* Debate

* Drama

* Music

* Children's Programs
