The song seems to be a condensed variant of Gosha SAnti.

Gosha SAnti is recited in all temples especially in the South,

and in general considered on par with many SAnti mantras.

It is part of Yajur vedam and hence sacred to all Asthikas.

It is also recited during tirumanjanams.
