If your belief in God is real, you will get relief soon. Offer prayers intensely. God will not forsake those who pray to him sincerely. Going to temple or not going has nothing to do with one's problems. It is the result of their "praarabda karma". But, sincere prayers can and will certainly mitigate and even wipe off all problems.
