Guest guest
SrI: Sri Suresh, There is a beautiful and powerful temple for Parasuramamoorthy in Thiruvallam, near the famous Kovalam beach in Trivandrum. The idol of Swamy Parashuramar here is very life-like and stays in ones mind long after leaving the premises. The temple also has shrines of Matsyamoorthy, Narasimhamoorthy and Krishnar. One can visit this temple as part of usual worship and offer archanai etc. This temple is famous for pithru karmam done. On Aadi Amavasay, which is a public holiday in Kerala, thousands throng to this temple to offer pithru tharpanam. Ladies are also permitted to do the rites on all days guided by the learned Namboothiri priests. One can buy a receipt for less than Rs 10,(like an archanai receipt) and offer tharpanam. Cooked rice, til etc will be provided by the temple since they will not allow outside objects inside. For vastram, they instruct the yajaman to offer a thread of his/her cloth. There is also a kovilkulam outside where immersion of ashes is done. Do visit this temple, it is open long hours on all days. sincerely Vidya Send instant messages to your online friends http://in.messenger. Guest guest
Dear every body There is a sect of Brahmins in North India called the Mohyal brahmins who are descendents of Lord Parasurama. The include surnames like Chibber and Bali. These people are warriors and are Brahmins . Dronacharya is supposed to be one of them. They build parasuram bhavans everywhere but dont worship him. They only worship rama and krsna. The rest of the questions on The Lord are to be answered by the learned readers and The Lord.
