Guest guest
Sri Ramajayam SrimathE GopAla DEsika MahA DEsikAya Namaha Dear BhAgavathAs, AdiyEn may slightly deviate from the decorum of Sri Ranga Sri, begging your pardon for the same. Many Sri Vaishnavite temples spread out in our native Villages/towns are not visited by us. God/AchAryas alike have chose to reside in the ArchA form in these places, for our benefit, and we for survival/material pursuits have abandoned him (perhaps for decades). AdiyEn request every person to visit his/her native village (if possible collect his/her relatives for the common cause/benefit) as frequent as possible. This will work wonders to the self/relatives/community and more importantly would support the motivation for the ArchakA community who have selflessly devoted themselves/families to the Vaidhika cause. In fact when AdiyEn visited Thoopul in PuratAsi, AdiyEn was lamenting about the Srirangapatnam Swami DEsikan not having a nice Ghosti as KAnchi on Swami's TN, which would be possible only if the BhAgavathAs in and around Sri Ranga Patnam nativity or those who live in places like Mysore/Bangalore visit this nice Sannidhi. Guest guest
Dear BhAgavathAs, Adiyen hail from SriRangapatnam and part of Sri Vedantha Deshika Sabha at SriRangapatnam. My grandfather, Late Sri Narasimhachar performed kaimkaryam at Swami Deshikan sannidhi for 65 years till he passed away. Currently, Sri Srinivas Iyengar (Mari mama) takes care of Swami Deshikan Sannidhi. Swamy Deshikan sannidhi is normally closed. BhAgavathas who want the sevai of Swami Deshikan can personally ask Sri Mari mama and he will oblige. He also takes care of Sri Hanumar sannidhi that is infront of Swami Deshikan sannidhi. Masa Thiru nakshatram is celebrated on every Sravanam with purappadu at 7:00 PM and devotees can take part in the sevai and sarumurai. The annual thirunakshatram is celebrated along with 10 days of thodakkam in a grand manner with thadiyaradhanai. The annual Gandhapudi utsavam is celebrated normally on second saturday of November in conjuntion with the end of Tula masam. A grand goshti assembles during this utsavam. BhAgavathAs who wish to perform sevai to Swami Deshikan can contact Sri K.S.Vasan, secretary, Sri Vedatha Deshika Sabha who is residing at Sri Rangapatnam. His contact details are: Vasan K.S S-3029, A.T. Street, Srirangapatna - 571438. Mandya dt., Karnataka State. Ph: 08236-252297. BhAgavathAs can also contact adiyen at 98862-16518 for any help.
