Sri VenkatAdhvari .

 

This visthAra Kaavyam has 1018 slOkams divided into

25 sthapakams celebrating the glories of MahA Lakshmi.

This Monograph has been released by the Prama Aasthikar

belonging to ArasANippAlai Vamsam , Sri Isti Kidambi VenkatakrishNan Swamy , who

is currently working at Kuwait

and being the Naayaka MaNi for AasthikAs of VaishNava

SampradhAyam there . This book has been dedicated to his

parents VaikuntavAsi Sriman ArasANippAlai asthOkAdhvari Kidambi Kavi VidhvanmaNi

Vaadhi HamsAmbhuvAha Ishti Sri SrinivAsAcchAr

Swamy and His dharma pathni Srimathy PattammAL . This book

contianing all the slOkams in Sanskrit and Tamil with a scholarly

forewod by Professor V.Kannan of Hyderabad University was released

during the occasion of the Marriage of Sriman IVK Chary's son

Sri Ananth with Sou. Deeptha at Oppiliappan Sannidhi on Feb 2 , 2006.

 

Sriman Navalpaakkam ChathurvEdha Sathakrathu V.Kannan Swamy

is currently covering few slOkams at a time in Sri RangaAtha

PaadhukA JOurnal and brings out the complexity , cleverness

and chAthuryam of the revered author of Sri Lakshmi Sahasram .

Hope one of the days , we could access the commentaries of

Prof. Kannan in English for the benefit of all who can not

follow the Tamil commentaries . I will translate a few to give

a flavor of this great VisthAra Kaavyam .
