Most of us avoid sending mails in Tamil due the uncertainity of the recipients having the same fonts in their system. The introduction of unicode fonts solved the problem to a certain extent as Windows 2000/XP versions support unicode and they have a Latha unicode font inbuilt in them. But for those using Win 98 or 95 problems remain eventhough unicode is supposed to reach everybody.To solve this problem dynamic fonts came in. But for sending and receiving a mail in Tamil all can not be expected to use this dynamic fonts.
