Guest guest
Dear Swamin Brahmaamantham..............Brahmaanantham in the sense that in " Kuwait", Vedhaghosham is changing the atmosphere there by parayanam of Vedas( Taittiriyam, Narayana Upanishat etc) by about 20 parayanakars. Sri U.Ve. Sudarshan Madabhushi Swamin They are ( including yourself) certainly Ubhaya Vedanthis. No doubt, Bhagavath-sankalpam is the reason for this. In Muscat also, it exists as seen from the e-mail of Sriman Govindarajan Sastra says that Bhagvan Sriman Narayanan is sitting by the side of Veda Parayanakara Swamis hearing the recital of Vedas. Middle east is having the bhagyam of vibration of veda uchhadanam. Srikainkarya offers it's thanks to Mahanubhavas who offered their suggestions /ideas which are here briefly 1. Srivaishnavas should set an example by undertaking "vedaadhyayana" themselves even during primepart of their "loukika" life& career, without "prathi-palan"(personal reward etc), even in the face of all kinds of obstacles 2.Before learning "Vedas" , Vaishnavites should perform Santhyavanthanam thrice a day with a minimum of 108 gayathri jabha daily 3.Different level ( from most frequently recited to the more difficult one) should be created to learn "vedas" with a set of order. 4. Summer schools can be started for different levels to train young vaishnavites 5. Vaishnava, as a group, (all sub-sects , differences, sampradaya) as a Hindu Vaishnava -fold should take up to popularise Vaishnava cult and way of life 6. Teaching should begin from home ( elders to teach first to their children) both D P and Vedas from Vyaya year and elders should keep some amount in reserve for the developement of our sampradaya and tradition 7. Existing Adhikaris should do adyayanam ( do parayanam daily) and also teach the next generation(If they support Vedas, Vedas , in turn, support them) 8.Preparation of minimum list of recital of Vedas ( which are expected to know by Vaishnavaites) can be thouht of 9.Srivaishnavas should do adyayanam after upanayanam which could help in performing "Brahma yagnam" every day ------ We can summarise this 1.Vaishnavaites should perform santhyavanthanam daily and then do adyayanam of vedas/learn DP after upanayanam which could help them to do "Brahma yagnam daily 2. A Pada thittam should be prepared ( frequent recital and other) and summer schools can be conducted for young vaishnavaites 3 Elders should teach Veda to youngstersin their homes and the elders should keep some amount for the developement of our sampradaya4. Existing Vedaparayakarars should do it and also teach to next generation ----------------------- The main AIM of Srikainkarya is that !) Vedaparayanam should be done everyday in temples by Vedaparayana swamis who are residing in the villages , without migrating to town/other places on some pretext or other . As Sri Badri Ramaswamy observed , vedas would support those who support (recite) it If we support monetarily Vedaparayanaswamis residing in the villages doing kainkaryam in the temples, they will recide there and also encourage their wards to learn vedas from them . This is a kainkaryam not only to Vedaparayanaswamis but also to Bhagvan Who is Vedaswaroopi. For this purpose srikainkarya suggests that an Ad may be given in the religious magazines like Srinrusimhapriya , Sri Ranganatha Paduka etc We can also ask whether children are available ( after upanayanam and doing santyavanthanam ) to teach them vedas and ifso what will be the requirement of funds To beginwith , Srikainkarya feels that this can be done first and other suggestions can be taken up one by one Reply is solicited Dasan Srikainkarya Soundararajan New Messenger with Voice. Guest guest
Shri: Adieyn considers myself as one of the most benefitted one of being member of these satsangams. Adieyn would like to thank Shri.Soundarajan Desikan Swamin to be as the spark for his intiative. I was doing only my trikaala sandhyavandanam and nothing much is known to me to qualify myself as a srivaishnava except my Acharyan dhaniyan, Ashtaksharam, Dwayam, Chrama slokam and Thiruppaavai. In fact I am eager to learn and recite various sloka, suktam and prabandam - but due to loukeeka constraints I am also forced to learn and spend most of my time towards my career enrichment. Just due to this reason, I could not spend much time in learning these sacred texts (of course finally it boils down to me, the one who should find time by prioritising my needs!). With a vairagyam, I was determined for the past few years to not to miss sandhyavandanam. Right from those days, I am aware that I should perform 108 japa and not 28. but for the reason of the time (since adiyen is saama vedin and sishyal of HH Azhagiyasingar, I need to perform aachamanam twice and pranayamam thrice as per my aacharyan's thiruvullam which made my sandhyavandanam more lengthier) as sandhyavandanam for one period extended beyond twenty minutes, I decided to do only 28 japa count. Just after reading this thread, I decided myself to do 108 count on saayam sandhya and for all three times during weekends as i could spare more time. To my surprise I found performing 108 did not take much time at all as I had thought. Now, I am performing 3 sandyavandanams with 108 gayathri japa and 108 ashtakshara mantram japam. I would like to say a special thanks to shri.soundrajan swamin and shri.S. Vijayaraghavan of NY ("Vijayaraghavan Chakravarthy" <vijayaraghavan_s) who seeded this thought in my mind. Now, adieyn is also preparing myself to learn pancha suktham and divya prabandam. But as you all know, this is a very steep learning curve and I would like to know the learning sequence starting from the most mandatory portions first and then progressing to the other at later stage. At this outset, adieyn requests all the knowledgeable persons of these sathsangams to guide me which part of these (pancha suktham, divya prabandam and Vishnu sahasranamam) are to be learnt first. Adiyen also expects more guidance in divya prabandam area as it is the most voluminous of all… Thanks, Ramanuja dasan, Narayanan Srimate Sri Lakshmi Nrisimha divya paduka sevaka Srivan Satakopa Sri Narayana Yatindra Mahadesikaya nama: , soundararajan desikan <srikainkarya wrote: > > Dear Swamin > Brahmaamantham..............Brahmaanantham in the sense that in " Kuwait", Vedhaghosham is changing the atmosphere there by parayanam of Vedas( Taittiriyam, Narayana Upanishat etc) by about 20 parayanakars.
