Guest guest
Dear beloved Group members, Once again by the complete blessing of Sriman Narayanan, Archavathara Anubhava Yathra has completed its third tour to Divyadesams. This time we all went to Chozha Nadu Divyadesams. Let me share our experiences during these 2 days yathra to the divine temples. We started from Sri Prasanna Varadharajar Temple, Aminjikarai, Chennai on 24th Jan @ 10.00 PM. We reached Thiru Nagari the next morning at around 7.00 AM. Becuase of some traffic problmes, we are little bit late. Our first visit is to Thiru Nagari - Sri Vayalali Manavalan Temple. We got the dharshan of the Perumal and the Great Alwar - Thirumangai Alwar. It was really a great time for all of our Bhakthas while we were in the temple. >From there, we reached, Mangai Madam and from there, we reached Thiruk Kurayaloor, the Avathara Sthalam of Thirumangai Mannan. From there we reached Paarthanpalli - Sri Parthasarathy Temple. We had a good dharshan of the Perumal. From Paarthanpalli, we went towards Thiruvan Purudhothamam. We had to wait for the Bhattar to come, but he reached a little bit late and after sometime, we saw the Perumal. >From Thiruvan Purudhothamam, we went to Vaikunda Vinnagaram. Its really an amazing thirukkolam of the Perumal. From there, we reached Sempon Sei Kovil and here also we waited for the Bhattar to come and finally got the dharshan of the Perumal. From there, we went to Thiru thetriambalam. All the bhakthas we little bit tired. So we had a little bit of rest in the temple itself and from there, we once agian started our yathra towards Arimeya Vinnagaram and got the great dharshan of Kudamadum Koothan Perumal. From Arimeya Vinnagaram, we went to Mani Maadakkovil. It was really a joyous instance when we saw the Perumal. All of our tired got mingled with the air as soon as we saw the Perumal. The Beauty of the Perumal could not be expressed, so much of Aabharanams, huge Perumal. Its really a great time we had there. The Bhattar explained that we will get the Punyam of visiting Badri if we visit this sthalam. So, bhakthas, if you find time, you can visit this sthalam. From there, we went to Thiru Manikoodam, but we could only get the Gopura Dharshan as the bhattar is unavailable and was said that he might turn up a little bit later. So, we left the sthalam without seeing the Perumal. Then, we came back to Thiru Nagari and had our lunch ( at around 5.00 ). Then we had a little bit of rest and visited Kaazhiseer Vinnagaram (Sirkazhi) and we got the dharshan of the Perumal a little bit later after we reached the temple since there was a wedding Janavasam there in the temple. And after getting the seva, we retured to Thiru Nagari and had our dinner. The first day of the tour really went on well with His Grace. The next day (26th Monday), we got up early and reached Thiru Thevanar Thogai and from there we reached Thiru Vaali. The Narasimhar who gives his seva along with Lakshmi Piratti is a special one. Generally, in Sri Lakshmi Narasimhar, Sri Lakshmi will be on the left side of the Perumal but in this sthalam only she is found on the right side lap of the Perumal. From there, we reached Thiruk Kannapuram - Sri Sowri Raja Perumal. The Alangaram and the beauty of the Perumal is very great. From there, we reached Thiruk Kannankudi. We reached at around 2.30 PM. But we were said the temple will be opened only at around 4.30 PM. We went inside the temple. We had our lunch there itself. And a great news is said about this sthalam. There is a Maghizha Maram (tree) on the pragharam of the temple and behind it, there was a Pushkarani. It is said that by pouring the water from the Pushkarai to the tree, we get all the great palams what we pray for and it is said that lots of Rishis have got that by doing it and by praying to this Perumal. We all poured the water to the tree. It was really a great expereinece for all of us and since we could get the seva of the Perumal, we sat there for a while and chanted the Ashtakshara Mantra "Om Namo Narayana" for 28 times and left from there to Thiruk Kannamangai. The bhattar explained the speciality of Thiruk Kannamangai sthalam and while he was saying so, he showed the Honey-Fab. It is said that all the Devars reside in this honey-fab. And a great issue is there were 2 honey fabs and these Honeys will migrate from one to another every six months (ie during utharayana and dhakshinayana kaalams). >From there, we went to Thiru Cherrai - Sri Saranatha Perumal Sannadi and from there we reached Naachiyaar Kovil. We got the dharshan of the Perumal and Periya Thiruvadi - Garudan. There is a unique speciality regarding the Kal (stone) Garudan. when taken out for a purappadu in the month of Margazhi Bhrammotsavam, first he will be carried by 4 persons then as the way passes, he will be carried by 8 person and then by 16, then by 32, 64 and finally by 128 Persons. And while returning the persons will decrease in vice-versa. This is one of the significant issue that is said in this sthalam. And finally we reached Chennai on 27th Tuesday morning at 4.30 AM. It was really a great experiance for all of the bhakthas to visit some divyadesams in Chozha Nadu. Om Namo Nayarayanaya Namaha: Jai Seetha Ramanjaneyaya Namaha: Adiyen. Guest guest
The Manimadakkoil "kudam muzhkku" was conducted on 5th Feb 2003. Plan for a visit to these "Thirunaangur Divya Desams". (Thirunangur is about 9 Kms from Sirkazhi and 30 Kms north of Karaikal). It would be an excellent experience to see this temple now; especially for the people who remember the condition it was in about 2 years back. There is a new 5 level RajaGopuram, Alwar Acharyan Sannidhi, Kodi maram, inner wall etc etc. Do plan a visit and get the blessings of Nara Narayanan. -Jawahar , "" wrote: > Dear beloved Group members, > > Once again by the complete blessing of Sriman Narayanan, > Archavathara Anubhava Yathra has completed its third tour to > Divyadesams.
