this is prabhu from ogilvy pr madras....

 

ths is with ref to ur mail asking for location etc....

 

there are 13 temples(divya desam) in and around seerkazhi

 

Seerkazhi is a place about 30kms from Chidambaram

 

(Chidambaram is about 260kms from Chennai and can b reached by bus/train

( a journey of about 6 hours))- there is one temple in chidambaram(divya

desam) itself

 

from seerkazhi, one can travel to mayavaram ( about 20 kms down south) -

there is one temple(divya desam) in mayavaram

 

about 30kms down south from mayavaram is kumbakonam , in and around which

are close to 10 temples(divya desam)

- nachiyar koil, thirucherai, thirukannamangai et.... come in this belt

 

THIRUVAHINDAPURAM is about 8kms from Cuddalore( the port city) on the way

to panruti.....

CUDDALORE IS ABOUT 40 KMS NORTH OF CHIDAMBARAM

 

so may b u can start with temples around Tanjore/kumbakonam , then visit

mayavaram, then temples around seerkazhi, then chidambaram

then thiruvahindapuram

from there u can come back to Chennai via pondicherry and u can use the

east coast road

 

BUS FACILITIES ARE AVAILABLE IN PLENTY TO EACH OF THESE PLACES...

AND U WILL B ABLE TO VISIT ALL THESE PLACES IN ABOUT 3-4 DAYS MAXIMUM

You are talking about so many tempels but you are not talking about Where

is

it situated

City,

District,

Sate,

and if possible land mark - so that people who were unable to travel with

you can

manage it on their own.

 

hope you can do that for me.
