Dear Mr. Narayanan,

Night halt at Chidambaram...

take an early morning bus from Chidambaram to Seerkazhi(after breakfast at

Chidambaram)

- the bus trip should take about 30-45minutes

>From Seerkazhi, it will make sense to first visit the tirivikraman

temple(by about 8am or so)

This temple is just off the chidambaram-seerkazhi main road....well

before the Seerkazhi bus stand.

at this tiruvikraman temple, the priest will direct you the route to the

2nd temple inside seerkazhi

At this 2nd temple , you will have a guide who will take you to all the

temples in about 4-5 hours

you can pay the guide about Rs. 150-200/- . He will do a good job and it

will be well worth paying this amount to him...

>From the Tiruvikraman temple, you can take an auto/taxi to all the temples

within Seerkazhi...

many of the temples are well off the main road....

hence taking a transport other than an auto/taxi could put you to

difficulty

you should be able to finish all the temples by about 1pm if you start from

temple 1 by 8am...

do let me know if you need any other info

prabhu

Hello Divya Desam members,

Can any one help by guiding me? I am visiting Divya Desams during week

ends. So far I have covered all Thondai naatu Tirupaties, Nadu naatu

Tirupaties and some Pandiya nattu Tirupaties including NavaTirupaties. I am

planning to go to Sirkazhi and Tirunangur Tirupaties. I know there are

about 14 divya desams in and around Sirkazhi.

If any one has already gone there, please help me by telling the route from

sirkazhi and the sequence of temples so that I can visit all temples in a

day. If you can throw some light on the timings of temples also it will

help.

Thanks in advance for your help.

S Narayanan
