I know of a family in Chennai who make special tours only to Divya Desams region

wise. But it's a family group and they may not allow others.

I have myself visited about 40 of them in and around Chennai,Kanchi,Madurai and

Trichy.Way to go still...

Why don't we,the members of this group, put our efforts together and organise one

week trips region wise ? I plan to visit Kerala temples in 2005 - there are

13/14 Divya Desams there.

When we meet we could plan other activities too.

Can we otherwise meet in our respective cities ?

I live in Bangalore and request others in this city to respond with your views .

Its a good idea. A caution: some people create a feeling that divya desams are

only for Vaishnavas, by birth. This you could see blatantly when you go to

Vaishnava temples. To gather well meaning group we all should come out of it.

Is it possible to treat all, viz., Vaishnavas as well as non-vaishnavites in

the same fashion in temples?

This is said not to offend any one or any practice but to ensure equal treatment

to all people who believe in God.

Dear Sri N S,

Please note that Emberuman's Kripa Vellam

always passes towards downwards. He first shower his

blessings on the person who is far and

will be at his first site. Here take the example of Arjuna and Dhuryothana.

He doesn't see the person stands

nearby him. He always looks for the person not near by him. "dEsAndrakathanAna

puthran pakkalilE pithru hrithayam kidakkumapolE"

- Srivachana Bhooshanam.

Also note that the Srivaishnavas at

Divyadesams gets special treatment because they or their forefathers

would have rendered remarkable service,

by recognising such services special treatment is given to them.

We should

be proud of such action. and try to

render some good service once in our life time which will give us

an opportunity to take birth in such Srivaishnava family.

He always treats everybody equally.

Chant always

: Sri mathe ramanujaya namaha: we will

always get positive thinking.

Sri Ramanuja Dasan,
